Hello friends and loved ones, I am fundraising for my nephew Andrew. He is 18 years old and has the heart of a lion. Loyal, loving, funny, caring are just a few ways to describe him. Andrew was diagnosed with cancer in December 2023 just one day before celebrating his 18th birthday. The cancer is an aggressive cancer that has unfortunately spread from his pancreas to his liver, spine and now brain. Andrew has had cancer once before, brain cancer, back when he was 6 so we are confident he will beat this again. The chemo and radiation treatments have started about two weeks ago and will continue for the next year. Treatments will be done in UCLA so Andrew will travel back and forth for treatments until then. Although insurance is involved, out of pocket expenses are astronomical.
