We had a great day out in Olney with the Olney Community Collaborative (OCC)!

Heather, Evelyn, and Steven from our Lending Team recently joined OCC for a corridor tour, visiting six local businesses and hearing directly from owners about their growth plans and what they need to take the next step. Our team shared how PIDC financing and other resources can help owners move forward. Plus, they got to sample some delicious ribs from Ribs R Us!

Getting out into the community and having these conversations gives us a better understanding of what business owners are experiencing on the ground and how PIDC can be a meaningful partner in their growth.

It’s been a busy MED Week! Yesterday, we hosted “Unlock Flexible Capital & Resources for Your Business,” a workshop connecting Philadelphia business owners with the financing and resources they need to grow.

Camille Simpkins and Steven McAlpine joined Lawrence McComie, PIDC’s Senior Vice President & Chief Credit Officer, Financial Services, to walk through PIDC’s financing options, the loan application process, and what to expect after applying.

Yesterday, PIDC joined the City of Philadelphia Government's Office of Economic Opportunity for the MED Week Kickoff Breakfast and Awards Ceremony at the National Constitution Center.

We connected with business owners, shared resources, and celebrated the businesses and leaders helping move Philadelphia’s economy forward.
