My lower ball joint went out so I started looking for full replacement lower control arms and had no luck at all. Come to find out the Chevy Astro van AWD model has a pretty direct match to the OBS Chevy 4x4 trucks! (They also use the exact upper control arm)
The main thing I like most about the swap was I didn’t have to press out the ball joints or the bushings on a what’s now 28 year old control arm and the next time I need a lower ball joint those are a bolt in style.

Doing window decals as well now. Made a few for some Coworkers tool boxes.

Installed a snorkel on the Gasquatch! (They don’t make a snorkel for an OBS Chevy but I’m making one from a Toyota 80 series fit) I’ve still got to heat the upward bend up and get it to hug the windows little closer but not a bad fit.

Cadillac Escalade that had Blown out rear air ride shocks I swapped over to non air ride and a heavier duty shock. Put a resistor on to bypass the air ride pump to not cause it to throw any error messages on the dash.
