The short version:
Payless Auto Repair (Pflugerville) charged $735.85 for a brake job, had the car 6 months, after 6 months the brakes were still totally non-functional. (as in... the pedal bottoms out on the floor and wouldn't even slow down)

Then the owner, Ray, ran my classic 1970 Gremlin into the garage wall - doing $3559.00 worth of damage to the car... and refused to take responsibility He said it was the car's fault because the brakes didn't work (same brakes that supposedly he had fixed and charged me for) ... and was belligerent as all get out, yelling and cursing at me. He actually said he was going to sue me for the damage to his garage, the damage he did by running my car into his wall.
This is all after he supposedly had fixed the brakes, had charged me for the repair, a "repair" that obviously didn't fix the brakes at all.

Then he refused to give me the keys to my wrecked car...until the cops I had brought with me, forced him to. He said I still owed him $65.00 for a consultation fee... because he had to take my car to a different mechanic's shop to ask that shop's mechanic how to fix my brakes (which he obviously never got around to doing).
As mechanics, these guys are totally inept... and then there's the whole wrecking my entire front end and refusing to take the responsibility for it.

Read the Website for the biggest auto repair shop Horror story ever!
This shop caused $3559.00 in damages by running my car into the shop wall, charged me almost $800.00 for a brake job, kept the car for 6 months and never fixed the brakes. Then blamed them wrecking the car on bad brakes... the same brakes they had once falsely claimed they fixed (and charged me for).
