We want to thank everyone who came out yesterday for our Father's Day Race and the kickoff of the 2026 Beat The Heat Summer Series!

We had an incredible turnout with 96 riders and 25 motos, and it's already clear that this summer series is going to be packed with competition. With so many riders participating, every race is going to matter as everyone works toward earning series awards and climbing the standings.

A special shoutout goes to the 20 dads who lined up for our Father's Day moto. It was awesome seeing everyone out there having fun, racing, and making memories with their families.

Thank you again to everyone who came out and supported the track. Turnouts like this are what keep BMX racing fun, exciting, and growing in our community.

If you missed the first Summer Series race, don't worry—there's still plenty of time to join in! Wednesday night racing will be Race #2 of the Beat The Heat Summer Series. Come out, get your series plaque, start collecting your race stickers, and put yourself in the running for our end-of-series awards.

Tomorrow we kick off Race #1 of the Capitol City BMX Beat The Heat Summer Series presented by Culver’s of Leander and Raising Cane’s!

Here's a closer look at the awards up for grabs throughout the series:

🏆 Summer Series Plaques
All riders who race in one of the first 5 series races will receive a Beat The Heat plaque. After each race, riders will earn a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Completed sticker to place on their plaque and track their results throughout the summer.

👕 Exclusive Series T-Shirts
At the end of the series, event T-shirts will be awarded to:
• Top 15 Boys
• Top 5 Girls
• Top 5 Cruisers

🥇 Custom Beat The Heat Jerseys
Custom jerseys will be awarded to the overall points champions in each category:
• #1 Boys Novice
• #1 Boys Intermediate

☀️🏁 BEAT THE HEAT SUMMER SERIES STARTS THIS SUNDAY! 🏁☀️

Our first race of the 2026 Beat The Heat Summer Series kicks off this Sunday at Capitol City BMX!

Just a reminder that all riders who race on Sunday are automatically entered into the series—there is no separate registration required. Every rider who races will receive one of our Beat The Heat Summer Series plaques to begin tracking their results throughout the summer.

One of the best parts of this series is that the points structure is the same for every proficiency, meaning Novice, Intermediate, Expert, Girls, and Cruiser riders all earn points using the exact same system. This makes the series perfect for everyone—from our seasoned racers to the riders graduating from Beginner League and racing their first events.

🚲 Balance Bike riders are welcome too!
While Balance Bike riders are not eligible for the series T-shirt or custom jersey awards, they will still receive a series plaque and can track their race participation all summer long.

🔥 Series Highlights:
🏆 Plaque awarded when you race one of the first five series races
📍 Finish stickers earned at every race
👕 Series T-shirts awarded to top finishers
👕 Custom jerseys awarded to top riders in eligible classes
⭐ Bonus points available for riders who race more than 10 events
