Someone asked how to drop the cradle on a Fiero for a clutch replacement...and I decided to respond at 10:00pm.
FOR THE LOVE OF SANITY, GET A SERVICE MANUAL!!!!!!!! And a basic metric socket and wrench set.
Heres the copy and paste of my response:
From memory: 4 cradle bolts, 2 13mm clutch slave nuts/bolts, the shifter cables on top of the transmission, the 13mm transmission mount nuts (1 on the top of each), 2 13mm engine mount nuts, the engine torque strut/dogbone, radiator hoses, 2 fuel lines, battery positive cable on the starter, battery negative cable on the engine block or head (tend to get put in 2 different locations depending on who does the work), the parking brake cable from the lever gets disconnected in the cradle, brake booster vacuum hose on the firewall, engine harness at the computer under the center console hlovebox/arm rest, the C500 connection with a 7mm bolt, the power junction block with a 10mm nut and an 8mm nut, waterpump coolant hose, the
Thermostat housing large hose and small hose, AC lines at the compressor is preferable (or remove and hang the compressor if charged with refrigerant).
Obviously the 19mm head bolts on the bellhousing (also a 15mm nut on one or 2 with a stud).
If I missed 1 or 2 tiny things, sorry, this is just from memory right before I go to bed for the night.
I've taking countless Fieros apart over the last couple decades. I've tried to forget, but I still remember most things.
