Streaking, squeaking, skipping...there are warning signs. But you might not notice until you're stuck going 5 MPH in a downpour because you can't see. Wipers start losing efficiency after 6 months. Set a reminder to replace them.

With wildfire smoke settling over the Midwest, protecting yourself while on the road starts with a button you might not use often. Recirculation mode is your car’s first line of defense - look for the curved-arrow-in-a-car icon on your dash.

Turning recirculation mode on is step one. Step two is making sure your cabin filter can actually keep up - that’s what stands between you and the smoke outside.

Conditions like these don’t give your filter a break. If yours hasn’t been swapped in a while, now’s a good time. Stop in to your nearest Belle Tire and we’ll check it for you.

Brady started out 25 years ago at Belle Tire as a Tire Tech, and decided to stay and build his career. It’s right here at Belle Tire that Brady met and developed lifelong friendships that are still going strong today. Over time, his coworkers turned into friends, and then into family. So it was no surprise that when one of these friends recently needed a kidney, Brady jumped into action. Not only did he beat the odds by being a match, but he selflessly donated one of his own kidneys to give his friend a fighting chance. Now that’s family!

Having spent the majority of his free time in the UP, (which included his annual hunting and fishing trip with the guys), Brady jumped at the chance to manage the Petoskey store. He and his fiancé have already purchased a house in the area, and have quickly made it their home.

Originally from downstate, Sean received his degree from Grand Valley State University. When it came time to settle down somewhere after college, he looked back on some of his happiest memories. These included his many trips over the years to the Petoskey area. Sean soon made Charlevoix his new home. He then began to research local companies with a great reputation that he could grow with. Sean remembered back to a time when he was 16, and stranded with a flat at the side of the road. Along came a Belle Tire guy, who pulled over, and helped him get back on his way. It was that simple act of kindness that inspired Sean to pursue a career with Belle Tire.

Once Sean started with Belle Tire, he immersed himself in the extensive training program. A quick study, Sean quickly established himself as a reliable and knowledgeable part of the team, and his positive outlook and upbeat attitude has been a welcomed addition.

Rebecca came to Belle Tire with over 10 years experience in the tire industry. Originally from Wisconsin, Rebecca moved to Pellston to be closer to her husband’s family. As someone who is an outdoor enthusiast who loves animals and riding her horse in nature, she found the Petoskey area to be a perfect fit.

With 13 years as a volunteer firefighter, she has found a community of amazing people and forged solid friendships. Rebecca was looking for that same sort of environment in a workplace, and has found it at Belle Tire.
