🚌 DID YOU KNOW?

Have you ever noticed the extra arm extending from the front bumper of a school bus? 👀

It's called a crossing control arm, and it serves an important safety purpose! It encourages students to walk far enough in front of the bus to be more visible to the driver before crossing.

It's one more example of how school bus design puts student safety first. 💛

🚌 DID YOU KNOW?

Ever wondered why school buses have those black stripes along the sides?

Those stripes are called rub rails, and they’re more than just part of the classic school bus look!

Rub rails help protect the bus body from minor impacts, bumps, and everyday wear and tear—helping keep the exterior panels protected while buses are on the road every day.

So next time you see those familiar black stripes, you'll know there's a purpose behind them! 💛🖤
