While you were sleeping, Derek was in Mt Storm, Petersburg, Brandywine, Harrisonburg, and back in Petersburg before 8:00. Thanks to the nice ladies at Brandywine General Store for snapping a picture while they were getting your breakfast ready in the wee hours.

Here is an authorized update on the very fortunate gentleman who was operating one of the cars we towed this weekend...

We wanted to give a small update, very rarely in this job as first responders do we get to know the outcome of our patients once they leave our scene. Its something that always ways heavy on our minds.

We hope and pray that we did eveything we could to save that person but almost never get to know.

Today we were given information directly from our patient from the vehicle accident Sunday morning.

Patient has given permission for us to give an update and we are happy to do so. Our patient has fractured left shoulder blade, fractured left tibia, fractured T-11 vertebrae, fractured 6 ribs, laceration of the liver Bruised lungs and bruised small intestines but is in recovery and doing good.

Our patient sustained some pretty serious injuries but is extremely lucky to be alive.
Vehicles are cheaply made and as you can tell , was crushed like a pop can in this accident.

We are Sending out another huge thank you to all of our mutual aid departments that helped us save this patients life.
This right here is what its all about! Coming together to do everything in our power to help our communities and those in it!

APPLE crash detection is the reason first responders were on the scene and rendering aid to the person in this car. This is why you should have automatic crash detection activated in your car and on your phone, so your accident can be found and life saving efforts started.
It is easy to think this will never happen to you, but no-fault accidents can happen to anyone.

⚫If you are going to need tires, don't put it off!⚫ I have a gentleman who always gets the same make, model, and size tires- In April 2025 they were $253 each, January 2026 they were $280 each, and today they are $310 each. I priced replacement tires for someone else, and they were $187 in 2024 and today the same make, model, and size tire is $235. As the price of oil rises, so does the price of tires. That, accompanied by the mercury dropping, is sure to make the prices go even higher.
