Happy Birthday to our fearless leader (and lieutenant in command), Mr. Jay & Bill’s, Billy Rider 👨🏻

We wish you a day filled with ease and a break in your future — that doesn’t include this wheelchair making it’s return to the workplace 🙃 We appreciate all of the devotion that you have to us here the shop and to the people in our community… Now let’s get you out on a different set of wheels, maybe less pavement, more dirt, and something with just two wheels instead of four 🤔

Jay & Bill’s is hiring!

We are currently looking for a tire technician, preferably a qualified and semi-experienced individual, but always willing to train someone who has the right motivation, attitude, and demeanour.

- Job duties include: dismounting, mounting, and balancing tires, flat tire repairs, and replacement of tire pressure monitors on all makes and models of vehicles. In addition, checking brake-pad-wear and getting brake specifications off of vehicles.

- Employee must be able to work quickly and efficiently, and be able to take direction and constructive criticism.

- Employee must be highly motivated, have a positive attitude, and have a mechanical aptitude.

- Employee must work well in a group setting — Our team is small and it’s important that everyone puts value on the person working next to them and values how we all work together to get the job done. It’s important to want to show up each day and match the efforts of those around you.

- Employee must be community-oriented and value customer service and the customer experience — We take pride in serving Petaluma/Sonoma County (and beyond) for as long as we have, and our customers trust us to keep them safe and well-advised. We want our employees to take pride in their work and value these long-standing relationships as we do, especially as our customers truly enjoy the familiarity of our employees whenever they come in.

- Employee must be able to lift heavy objects (100lb +/-), and the job operates both indoors and outdoors, so exposure to the cold and heat is to be expected.

We are looking for a full-time employee for this position, working 40-hours/week — Our shop is open from 7am-5pm Tuesday-Friday, and closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday's (…3-Day weekends, every weekend).

Waking up on Father’s Day and we thought, what better a time to pop on and thank everyone for voting us best in Petaluma (for the eighth year in a row 🙏🏻), and to give a special nod to the “dad” who founded the shop… 50 years and now three generations of fathers.

And of course, a Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers and father-figures out there, of past and present. We hope that you are slowing it down and enjoying the day in style 👨🏻

Finished up a back country kit, optioned with fabricated radius arms, high and low mount steering stabilizer, sway bar drops and end links with the new Carli spec shocks for .jake Finished this build off with 18” arsenals and 37x12.50x18 wildpeak at3w tires. Here at Jay & Bill’s we believe that half the battle of wanting to donate resources around this time of year is knowing where & what to put your efforts into, so that’s why we’ve teamed up with for our fourth year in a row & we’ve included a list of this year’s wish list items to keep it easy!

You can look for our gift box in either the office or outside (weather dependent) to drop smaller items into & pass along any larger items to our staff until December 30th 🕊️
