Pro Street Customs is looking for an experienced mechanic skilled in wiring classic vehicles and familiar with LS, Coyote, and Godzilla swaps. Candidates must have their own tools and be punctual, responsible, and knowledgeable. This is not a training position. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with weekly pay.

Life changed 5 years ago this June.

Life changed the day I lost my brother. The world kept moving without him, but my heart stood still. The man who once stood between me and the everyday storms was suddenly gone. No more quiet advice, no more steady voice telling me everything would be okay. I didn’t just lose my brother, I lost my safety net and my guide, my strongest wall. Some day I still reach for the phone to call him.

Back in December of 2024, we had a stock 1985 Chevy Squarebody frame sitting at our shop. This frame was owned by an ambitious customer who wanted to go big with his restoration. With this in mind, we turned to Scott’s Hot Rods to get the ball rolling. We approached them with the idea of building a fully custom 4-wheel drive chassis that was new and innovative. They didn’t offer one on the market yet, so we came to them to collaborate on having the first one built for our customer. With that being said, we are proud to announce that we now have our hands on the first Scott’s Hot Rods 4-wheel drive Squarebody chassis. We want to thank Scott’s Hot Rods for the opportunity to be the first to experience this great chassis. We’ve been very excited to get started on this project and have another big project being announced soon. We look forward to sharing more of it as the truck goes under the knife!

Every car has a story, but some wait decades to be told. Beyond the usual barn-find legends are the cars enthusiasts never forget—the ones that sit tucked away for years, quietly gathering dust while their legends grow.
This particular car—a 1969 Camaro RS-SS finished in code 72 Hugger Orange with a striking orange houndstooth interior—has been on my radar for a long time. Back then, it was sitting behind the body shop at the Buick-Honda dealer on Broadway Drive, already carrying the mystique of a car waiting for its next chapter. I was not able to buy it at the time. In the years that followed, it passed through a few owners, yet no one ever seemed to move the project forward. For more than 30 years, it remained hidden from view.
That is part of what makes a find like this so special: it is not just the car itself, but the history and persistence attached to it. With only 21,558 original miles, this Camaro carries the kind of authenticity collectors dream about. Even so, time has not left it untouched—the original engine and transmission are long gone. Still, the car’s rarity, provenance, and long-hidden status make it a remarkable survivor with a story worth telling.
