Bring back the old days with working on this stuff. Here is beautiful rust free California OBS 99 Suburban. The legendary 5.7 Vortec failed. Out with the old and in with the reman engine from GM. Engine was out with the oil still being warm. Test drive following morning.

Knock knock who's there? It's me, #4 and #6. Another ram 6.4 failure. No fixing this one. Therefore we had to install a new engine from Mopar. Not sure about the service history which im sure played a huge role, but keeping up on the oil changes at 5000 miles with the correct 0w40syn oil would have been much cheaper.
The intake was even melted and some yahoo tried using an excessive amount of silicone to seal it.

Some recent jobs completed this past week include a typical 6.4 lifter failure on a RAM. The customer was fortunate to have brought it to our attention promptly after the tapiddy tap tap noise started, which saved the camshaft from damage. It recieved oem Mopar lifters and gaskets.

405K miles on the timing belt and water pump in a Yoder Tacoma!

Its not always the problematic lifters failing in the 6.4 Ram. Having the common tapity tap tap noise with mis fire it sure sounded like a lifter. After removing the cylinder head we found the valve was not seating correctly and it was hitting the piston.

Dash day Tuesday. Ram heater core leak and F250 Dash harness. Antenna cable somehow shorted out and cooked the dash harness. The ram was just the usual heater core leak.
