That’s a wrap on . Put near 1700 miles on the truck.

Parking lot oil changes -3
Oil pan patches and repairs - 4
Lost wastegate inlet clamp on the road - 1
Rack and pinion brackets bent - 2
Radiator drains and thermostat repairs - 2
Leaking axle seal - 1
Tire swaps - 6
Sore ass - 1 time everyday fitness 6 days soo 6

Learned how to get the ARB dialed in and adjusted to get back to our bracket et of 6.5 at the last day. Too bad we couldn’t start there when I know it’s where it should run but didn’t want to push it with all the driving that needed doing.

I ended up overall 34th and 2nd in my class with the issues at the first few tracks and fuel cut out at bonne terre but very happy for my first drag and drive!

1700 driven miles and I am about to make my last pass of competition. I did it.

Day six is in the books. A 7.0 pass with fuel cut out safety not bad but I will do better at mo kan tomorrow. Props to Greg's Tuning Operation for dropping buy 160° thermostat. I ended up having to change it in the gas station parking lot at Bonne terre anyways because the other gasket was already leaking. Then I drove 312+ miles over a five hour time. Period to get to the hotel at midnight.

Rainy morning headed to bonne terre. Man my ass is numb of these Kirkey seers I think I’ve said that before though. We’re still in it. Hoping to get a pass in today instead of just driving.

Wrapped in a long day today but after I pulled the oil pan at a local shop in Havana, I got it welded shut. I noticed the bounce for the rack and pinion were bent so I had to correct those that I decided to get the radiator thermostat while I was at it so we could run a little cooler and also replace a white gate fl**ge on one go and then not get on the road till 5 PM and get to the hotel at 10, but all check points made.

Day 4 is done. Our patched oil pan held tight this time around. So far we’ve done three parking lot oil changes, three parking lot oil pan crack patches one fan plug rewiring do it overheating because the radiator cap came loose on the drive yesterday one trans brake wire track down because a plug came loose so I didn’t have reverse for a bit a Juliett prison parking lot windshield wiper repair because vibrations do things to bolts that were tight but still going strong Baldwin Racing EnginesGreg's Tuning Operation@smokeymountainnationals.
