This vehicle came in with a leaking freeze plug. If you’re wondering, what a freeze plug is the name pretty much says it itself a freeze plug is deigned to allow for expansion incase your coolant in your block freezes it designed to pop out so the block doesn’t crack also freeze plugs are put in after the casting process of the block. If you look at this picture somebody tried to silicone this leaking freeze plug which is not the correct way to fix it. To do it right it is best to replace the freeze plug sometimes they can be hard to get to but replacing it correctly the first time is the way to go and be done with it. Brass freeze plugs are a lot better and less corrosive compare to steel. We got this person fixed up right!

Always have your vehicle inspected especially  if it’s older because rust can cause so much damage if not caught/treated in time! This vehicles subframe mount is completely rusted away on one side. Incase you are wondering what is a subframe. So on must passenger cars you don’t have a full solid frame underneath like a truck or larger vehicle might have you have a unibody and then usually a front and rear subframe that will bolt into the body of the car that ties your suspension and other related components together. Your front subframe usually helps support your motor and transmission as well.

When replacing a battery a good rule of thumb is your battery post on the battery should protrude past the battery cable terminals some. They should not be flush like these. Always make sure they protrude some and are nice and tight you want a good clean tight connection!

Good work ain’t cheap! Cheap work ain’t good! We go above and beyond on every job we do. We fix little things that you may not even know about and clean things up we do all kinds of extra steps while doing a job! Customer wanted there spark plugs replaced. They definitely needed replaced they were wore out! Upon replacing spark plugs some of the ignition coil boots were stuck to the inside cylinder wall! We tried our best not to damage them but they refused to come out. Pro tip when replacing spark plugs try to grease the ignition coil boot with some dielectric grease to prevent them from sticking to the cylinder wall and help make removal easier.

Even a simple brake job can lead to problems/issues! We were doing a rear brake job for a customer and the piston inside the caliper was so rusty it actually rusted part of it off and crumpled to pieces! Rust Is a vehicles enemy it can reduce the life of your vehicle by many years. it’s very important especially in the winter months when snow is expected to wash the brime/salt off your vehicle right away! it can drastically effect life of your vehicle!
