The past few days have been incredibly difficult for our entire team as we continue to process the devastating fire at our facility. We have been overwhelmed by the kindness, encouragement, and support weโve received from our customers, friends, fellow businesses, and our community. Every message, phone call, prayer, and offer to help has meant more than words can express. ๐ค
Many have asked what happened. We know that in situations like this, informationโand unfortunately, misinformationโcan spread very quickly on social media. Rather than leaving room for speculation and rumors we would like to share what we know, as transparency has always been very important to us. On Monday evening one of our Rotators unexpectedly caught fire while it was parked inside our building. While we donโt know exactly what malfunctioned within that truck, what we do know is the fire spread quickly throughout the facility causing the entire building and all of its contents to be completely burned. In addition to that Rotator, we also lost three other tow trucks, which included our brand new heavy wrecker we purchased a few months ago and two of our rollbacks.
We are incredibly grateful that no one was inside the building at the time and that there were no injuries. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Good Samaritan who noticed the fire, immediately called 911, and had the presence of mind to take a photo. That quick thinking was used to help identify where the fire originated from and provided valuable information to first responders.
To all of the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS personnel, neighbors and friends who responded that nightโthank you from the bottom of our hearts. Because of your swift and courageous efforts, our second building and many of our other trucks were saved. We will never forget your dedication and the help you provided us.
We also want to reassure all of our customers that ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ . Although we are down a few trucks, we still have a wide variety of trucks that were spared. All services previously offered by us are still available. Our commitment to serving you has not changed, and we will continue providing the dependable service youโve come to expect from us.
We are already hard at work and in the process of replacing the equipment we lost and will be rebuilding our facility. While the road ahead wonโt be easy, we are determined to build back stronger than ever. This business has always been built on hard work, resilience, and the relationships weโve formed with our customers and community.
This fire may have damaged our building and broken our hearts, but it did not take away our determination. We are not going anywhere. We will rebuild, we will continue to grow, and we will keep doing what we loveโcarrying on Pat (and Sueโs) legacy by serving our customers and our community.
