A small mishap caused quite a bit of damage on this 27’ . As you can see the repair was fairly large.

The busted glass was removed and built back layer by layer. A custom sanding block was made to aid with fairing. After fairing, we conducted an in-house gelcoat color match and the repair was completed.

Another flawless repair headed home to a happy customer.

We recently completed a console cleanup on this 2019 SeaPro. A factory installed charge controller malfunctioned and caused an electrical fault that damaged several components and nearly caught the boat on fire.

The wiring in the console was cleaned up and all unnecessary wires were removed or shortened. The routing was tidied up and the damaged components were replaced. Additionally, several deficiencies in the factory wiring harness were identified and reconciled. We replaced the NMEA 2000 network as it was also damaged by the charge controller. Additional repairs and modifications were completed as well.

All in all, this boat was returned to service in a short amount of time. It wasn’t quite a rewire but a vast improvement over what existed prior.

This severely oxidized Nauticstar came to the shop due to some damage caused by a tire blowout. While here, the hull underwent a gelcoat restoration on the hull-sides. Replacement decals were installed as the factory decals were discontinued and the trailer fenders and fender supports were replaced.

Overall we took all of the age off of the boat and repaired the damage caused by the tire blowout. Another happy customer is back on the water just in time to catch the end of scalloping season here in Taylor county.

Check out this new Dometic hydraulic steering we installed recently on this shoalwaterboats 22 Legend and old Mercury Marine two stroke. We recently did a stringers up restoration on this boat and are currently underway on a rewire.

The keel on this classic was repaired and a gelcoat keel guard was applied. We finished the repairs by replacing and increasing the size of the trailer timbers to full dimension 6” x 8” beams.

We will be adding two additional crossmembers and forward bunks to the trailer next week to prevent this damage from occurring again.

Here’s a quick three day rewire we did this week. The customer only had the budget for a wiring-rats nest cleanup but we had other plans.

Once we got into it we found countless issues that we didn’t feel comfortable just cleaning up. We ripped out the old harness and pulled all brand new marine grade wiring through his boat. We replaced the fuse block, switches and panel, battery switch, bus bars and much more. All staying right around his budget.

All of this was done in just three days. Dropped off in Monday and returned Friday.
