Because our first STOP LIGHT DRAGS was such a success, we’re bringing it back!

Our inaugural event featured 83 race entries, with nearly 70% of the drivers being first-time racers. The turnout proved that there are plenty of people with everyday cars and trucks who want a safe and legal place to line up and experience the thrill of racing on a Friday night.

A big part of what made the event special was our all-new STREET TREE, designed to give racers the feel of a real street stoplight while still providing professional timing and results. Combined with the excitement of side-by-side racing, it created a unique experience unlike anything else in Southern California.

Several hundred spectators packed the stands on a perfect summer evening to watch all the action unfold.

Just because we’re called STREET LEGAL DRAGWAY doesn’t mean the all-out race cars can’t join in on the fun. Bruce Boardman in his ’56 Anglia and Charlie Saucedo in his ’51 Anglia brought their Gassers out for a little heads-up battle of their own—and the fans absolutely loved it.

At Street Legal Dragway, we’re not just running drag races — we’re changing the way drag racing feels.
First, we built the first dedicated NO PREP 330-foot drag strip in the country, bringing instant-action, street-style racing to a legal track. Then we pushed the sport forward with our own Racer App, giving racers and fans live digital timeslips in real time.
Now, we’re doing it again.
Introducing the STREET TREE — the first of its kind.
Each lane gets its own full-size traffic light, just like you’d see on a city street.
Yellow means READY.
Red means SET.
Green means GO.
No guessing. No rolling into the beam. No cheating the tree like a traditional drag light. This is street-style reaction brought to the track in the most real way possible.
At Street Legal Dragway, we built a place for racers who understand what it means to have street credibility. This isn’t about glue (traction compounds) making a bad driver look good. This is about the car and driver working as one — feeling the track, managing traction, and letting the gas pedal do the talking.
It’s not just horsepower.
It’s reaction.
It’s traction.
It’s control.
It’s nerve.
