Finding metal on your or***ce tube? That’s a clear sign your A/C compressor is eating itself alive. 🛑❄️
To do the job right and protect your wallet, here is the rule of thumb:

Replace: The compressor, accumulator, and condenser.
Flush: You must thoroughly flush the lines before bolting on the new parts.

Skip the flush, and leftover metal debris will travel straight into your brand-new compressor and ruin it instantly. Don't pay for the same job twice!

Had serpentine belt come off a truck. Found another shop didn’t get one of the 3 bolts installed correctly on a/c compressor causing it to snap the other 2 studs and have a tow bill… but at Piston Revolutions we will fix this right and send it back on its way!

A 2012 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke with 3 codes had the issue fixed by cleaning the MAP sensor that was filled with carbon; always ensure sensors and wiring are checked before jumping to conclusions.
