Introducing our latest Sportsman Safari #8. Another one of our “super stock” builds. This black on black on black 964 C4 was spec’d out with gloss clear exposed carbon body work on original paint. Options include our carbon roof rack with light bar, roll hoop w rear storage box inside a factory original interior cleaned up and restored. In the business end sits a new 3.8l engine pushing 350hp. Dampened with our live valve resi’s lets you manually set the shock valving from street to dirt mode with the push of a button. Introducing Sportsman Safari #7. This build is what we internally have labeled a “super stock” build. With a 964 c2 donor showing only 40k on the odometer meant leaving the flawless Guards Red paint and interior alone. Inside is a time capsule of 90’s awesomeness. Not a cut in the seat or crack in the dash, perfect carpet and panels. Absolutely no need to repaint the body or replace such a quality interior. Minimally optioned out with color matched carbon body work, carbon roof rack, roll hoop/ storage box and a freshly rebuilt 3.6l engine this Safari is so simple and clean. With the help from .simonsson we created our new DRT package for the Porsche 993. With 5 units of the off road variant currently in production we realized this just might make a killer tarmac set up with a second set of suspension components, wheels and front bumper. Seb knocked this render out for us today. I’ve never had the interest in doing anything other than our dirt focused builds but I have no choice but to bring this to life. I may be wrong but I am fairly certain there isn’t another sports car in the world that lends itself to such a versatile range of capability. On top of that I can confidently claim that there isn’t another wide body 911 design in existence that can simply have its suspension and wheels swapped out and look so perfectly executed in both studies. What started out as an “I wonder what this would look like” may have just grown into something bigger. Our new DRT package for the 993 was originally a ground up design based on the ideal off-road/touring spec. Seeing the possibilities of using the same body kit and simply building tarmac spec shocks and suspension components might just be a completely new territory of offerings. I had never planned on competing in the “street” car market but something about this just seems right. Introducing our latest Sportsman #7 build here this week. This Guards Red 964 c2 is something we internally call a “super stock” build. By starting with a mint condition donor we are able to save the client money by keeping the original paint and interior. That savings can then be put toward accessories or like this spec a freshly rebuilt 3.6l engine package. With just a little paint correction and color matching the carbon body kit these Super Stock builds are amongst my favorite. The flawless interior still retains that special 90’s 911 feel and smell. There is just a feeling you get sitting in something so classic and well preserved esthetically while knowing underneath is some of the most trick suspension and chassis components made today. Having the peace of mind knowing you can absolutely thrash on these Safaris and not worry about scratching your new $40k paint job is the best.

I’ve always had a vision of building or delivering our builds in pairs. Partly due to scheduling and manufacturing parts in multiples, or simply because of shop layout and being efficient. I thought it would be a great way to display our versatility and ability to design and create builds unique and custom to each particular client while remaining mechanically identical. It seems to have come to fruition lately.
