• B.B the '73 : Part 1•

A customer sent his car to a shop near him. The car was "making progress" with the resto shop. He was contacted by a current Outkast customer who was happy with their car. So he decided put his OTHER car on a transport and have Outkast do the work on it. So both cars were with 2 different shops at the same time.
After some time, customer discovered that they were NOT happy with the quality/progress of the first resto shop. A decision was made to remove the car & send it to Outkast Fabrications.

It was communicated (by prior shop) that the repairs had been completed and car was ready to move towards being painted & reassembly.

These pics were taken minutes after the car was dropped off by the transport company.

I wish I could say this is a rare occurance. But it's just NOT. The fact that this car was being toted as "repaired" with "new floors/quarters" and almost ready for paint is HORRIFYING.

THIS is why shoppers need to be cautious of paying top $$ for a "restored" car. Or trusting a shops work when they are " too busy" to send you progress pics.
You never know what is lurking below that new paint job.

It runs & even the AC works!
A project purchased out of TX that is for a 16yr old girl.
What a lucky young lady😍
In for a quick floor replacement to start….coming back to get the trunk done later.
