It's been a hot, but GREAT summer — from movie night with the kids (shout out to the North Carolina crew), gearing up for the Marshall Tucker Band, to cooling off in a kiddie pool. We’re grateful for the wonderful community that continues to help create memorable moments.

🐾 Jimmy has some exciting news for his four-legged friends!

A brand-new dog park is coming to Smith Mountain Campground this fall! As we continue listening to guest feedback, we remain committed to making improvements that enhance the overall campground experience for everyone—including our furry guests.

Jimmy can’t wait to check it out, and we look forward to seeing all our campground pups enjoying a safe place to run, play, and make new friends! 🐶

🎉 Last-Minute Opening for July 4th Weekend! 🇺🇸

We have three campsites still available for this holiday weekend, one of which is a FHU!

As an added bonus, we're hosting The Robert Mabe Band this Friday evening, July 3rd, from 6:00–9:00 PM. It's a great way to kick off the holiday weekend with live music and good company.

Please note: The concert is exclusively for registered campground guests.
