Back on the 65 Catalina, we’re getting tired of trying to source clean panels and parts, so we decided to just make some. Chromoly radiator support, and all necessary bracing. The center console is coming along slowly, working on some trim to finish it off. Then the poor fenders… inner bracing, outer skin, hours and hours of work to get this thing right again, but it’s paying off. Slowly becoming a car again.

George’s 65 Catalina is finally on the roadster shop frame. This car has been fighting back since day one, initially coming in for a frame swap, wiring, and a refresh, now getting all new metal, paint and interior. It has been a battle, with almost no parts to be found online, a lot of this car has to be handmade. We are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, now focusing on the interior, with a custom waterfall center console in the works and some 2021 challenger seats, we’re excited to share some more progress soon. Let me know what you think of the repairs in the last slide, or if you need some extra nuts and bolts! . .
