What a night in Pella! 🎉

Thunder Creek had a blast being part of the City of Pella’s Ag in the City event last night. We loved connecting with families, handing out ice cream bars, stress cows, frisbees, and sharing a little more about who we are and what we do.

Events like this are a great reminder of the pride we have in being part of this community and representing the people, products, and purpose behind Thunder Creek.

A big thank you to the City of Pella for hosting such a fun evening, and thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

On Monday, we had the pleasure of celebrating Oliver Bell’s completion of his welding apprenticeship with LDJ Manufacturing.

Oliver’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to learning the trade have been evident throughout his apprenticeship, and we’re proud to recognize this important milestone in his career.

We’re excited that Oliver officially started full-time with the LDJ Manufacturing team on June 2, 2026. We look forward to seeing him continue to grow, contribute, and build great things with us in this next stage of his career.

We had a great time welcoming our LDJ Manufacturing Employee Owners and their families to our Open House on May 28!

Families had the chance to tour our factory and facilities, enjoy dinner from local food trucks, play yard games, cool off with shaved ice, and enjoy Thunder Creek cookies. Kids also received grab bags that included a custom Thunder Creek coloring book, toy truck, and a toy Thunder Creek trailer.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a fun and memorable event. We’re proud to share what we do with the families who support our team every day!

🎉 We are proud to welcome Killian Huff as our newest Weld Apprentice at LDJ Manufacturing!

Killian recently signed at the WorkSMART Connector Signing Day at the Career Academy of Pella, an exciting event celebrating nearly 50 area high school students who are choosing to earn while they learn through work-based learning programs.

We believe in investing in the next generation of skilled tradespeople, and Killian is exactly the kind of driven young person we love to have on our team. The WorkSMART Connector does an outstanding job connecting local students with local businesses, and we're grateful to be part of this program.
