Happy Birthday Red Farmer, you make everyone in Alabama that loves circle track, NASCAR racing proud.

Happy Birthday to NASCAR Hall of Famer and Alabama Gang legend Red Farmer!

Born October 15, 1932, Charles “Red” Farmer has spent a lifetime doing what he loves most: racing. From the dirt tracks of the South to NASCAR’s biggest stages, Farmer built a remarkable legacy defined by toughness, determination, and an unwavering passion for motorsports.

A three-time NASCAR Late Model Sportsman champion from 1969 through 1971, Farmer was named one of NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers in 1998 and its 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023. His induction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2022 cemented his place among the sport’s all-time greats.

As an original member of the legendary Alabama Gang, alongside Bobby and Donnie Allison, Farmer helped shape a golden era of stock car racing. His story is about more than trophies and championships — it is about a lifelong dedication to the sport and a competitive spirit that never stopped burning.

Red Farmer’s unfinished race is a testament to a life spent chasing the checkered flag, inspiring generations of racers and fans along the way.

Join us in wishing Red Farmer a very happy birthday! What is your favorite memory of this legendary racer?
