Dad, Ronald Wilson, asked me to make a short post regarding his health. He's been battling cancer for the last year and a half. It's incurable and has progressed. That's all we will elaborate on and won't answer any questions on specifics. He does want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. He's going to try to get on fb again but unsure at the moment. Thank you for your understanding. Also, if you see he's showing online, it's likely me (Sharon). I've been checking his messages and such for him.

We would like to inform everyone that Wilson Auto Sales Inc is officially closed, permanently. We have sold the building and shut down the company. It is bittersweet that our journey in the automotive business has come to an end, but it's been one hell of a good run! From starting out in the Towing business, adding Automotive repair as well as salvage parts and finally the Auto sales. Of course we can't forget the racing community that we have been a part of for 40+ years. There have been ups/downs, struggles and triumphs throughout the years, but we couldn't have continued without the support of this great community. We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the last 45 years! There aren't enough words to express how truly grateful we are. We will also ask for prayers for Ron. If you need us for anything, please contact myself, Sharon 309-613-6285 or any of us via fb as Ron is unable to get on fb and may not answer his phone much. We can answer any questions you may have regarding the business etc. Again, thank you from all of us Wilson family.

Due to the small amount of vehicle inventory on our lot, many have asked if we are going out of business. We are NOT going out of business. We are still here and going. Used car prices have drastically increased recently so it's much harder to buy and keep our prices manageable for our customers and ourselves. We are going to make some changes in the near future as well as purging excess stuff that we just don't need anymore. 🙂 We appreciate the concern and just want to say that we are still in business and going to keep going as long as we can.

Our Cars characters will be in South Pekin tomorrow night for a movie in the park event (Cars of course). We will have them back at our lot on Sunday but they will be in a different spot (Koch St side).
