📢 Update from Dan-O’s Garage

While we’re currently unable to operate from our shop location, we’re still working hard to take care of our customers.

Just because we’re not in the office doesn’t mean we’re not taking calls! Our team is diligently working behind the scenes to continue handling your automotive needs during this transition.

✅ We are still accepting vehicle drop-offs and arranging pick-ups at:
📍 308 N. 8th Street, Pekin

Due to limited storage space at our temporary work location, we are currently restricting the number of vehicles and projects we can take on at one time. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these challenges.

If you need service, please call us and we’ll do our best to get you taken care of.

Thank you for your continued support.

NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS

Due to a recent decision by the City of Pekin, Dan-O’s Garage is no longer permitted to operate from our 8th street location. After having an auto shop at this location serving our community from this building for over 50 years without issue, we have been informed that the property does not meet zoning and code requirements.

It will take about 3 months to get the permits and zoning finalized. At this time we cannot conduct business out of the shop without getting fined so until this is finished we have secured a space to temporarily work.

While we work through this unexpected situation we have to reduce the number of appointments we can accommodate at this time. We will use our 8th street location for pick up and drop off of vehicles.

If you need service, please call us at:

309-477-8760

We will do our best to assist you and schedule your vehicle as quickly as possible.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support during this transition.

Thank You,

The Dan-O’s Garage Team

To our valued customers,

We want to keep everyone informed about a situation affecting our shop. After having an automotive shop operating at our location for nearly 50 years, we have been notified by the City of Pekin that the building at 308 N. 8th Street is not currently zoned and/or does not meet certain code requirements for our business operations. As a result, we have been instructed to temporarily cease conducting business at this location.

We understand this news may be frustrating and inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption. Our team is actively working to gather more information and explore all available options so we can continue providing the service and support our customers have trusted for decades.

We expect to have more information by Monday and will share updates as soon as they become available. In the meantime, we are also looking into locations outside the city limits to ensure we can continue taking care of our customers and their vehicles.

We greatly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support during this unexpected situation. Thank you for standing by us. We look forward to continuing to serve you and will keep everyone updated as we learn more.
