Dealers Auto Auction of Jackson Day in the Lanes was a huge success! MSIADA had an amazing time supporting our dealers and helping our pre-licensing members get a firsthand look at how the auction operates.

There’s no better way to learn than to get out there, experience the lanes, and see the auction process in action! We are proud to help prepare the next generation of Mississippi dealers for success.

And of course, having Crooked Letter Food Truck there was the perfect bonus! It made a great day even better!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out, participated, and helped make the day such a success. We love supporting our dealers and watching our MSIADA family grow!

Today was another great day at MSIADA!

We had a fantastic group join us for our Pre-Licensing Class, and we are so excited to see each of you take the next step toward becoming a licensed Mississippi auto dealer!

At MSIADA, our goal is simple: we want every person who walks out of our class to leave with ALL the keys to success!

From understanding the licensing process to learning what it takes to start and operate a successful dealership, we’re here to educate, encourage, and help you every step of the way.

VIA NIADA: On August 19, NIADA submitted a comment letter to the House Committee on Financial Services in response to its request for feedback on draft legislation to reform the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

Among NIADA’s key recommendations: a complete statutory carveout under Section 1029 of Dodd-Frank for all licensed automobile dealers; replacing the CFPB’s single-director structure with a bipartisan commission; requiring any future novel interpretations of statutes or regulations to adhere to the rigorous standards of the Administrative Procedure Act; and establishing appropriate guardrails around the CFPB’s market-monitoring authority to prevent it from becoming a backdoor mechanism for collecting proprietary industry information without a legitimate purpose or using that information as the basis for enforcement actions.
