Did you know.....
Nearly every insurance company has third party administrators that handle glass claim on their behalf.
Did you also know that Safelite actually answers the phones and takes claims for 90% of the insurance companies as the third party administrators?🤔
When you call a "special" toll free number or press "3" for glass claims, that the next person you speak to will be an employee of Safelite. This is where the hard sell begins.
You will hear such untruths as.....

1) The (independent) glass company that you the consumer have chosen is not on the "preferred" list of repair shops.
2) Your chosen shop does not offer a warranty.
3) You should go to one the shops on our "list".

Funny part is Safelite is the only one on this ficticious list.

Any attempt to convince you or frustrate you into going anywhere but the shop you initially have chosen as your repair shop is ILLEGAL!!
This is called steering, and is illegal in the state of Massachusetts.

Please know you as a MA policyholder, you may go ANY registered repair shop to have your windshield/auto glass replaced. Same with auto body.

We have been an independent family owned auto glass replacement service for 35 years. We offer lifetime leak warranty and can bill your insurance company directly.

Make sure you don't get "steered" away from a locally owned shop.
