I finally made it to a race with my boat. I have been wrenching in this thing for a year. It did great. Need to change some things but for coming off the trailer with rebuilt/ rerigged everything it performed awesome. Looking forward to more racing. Thanks for everyone that helped me and the boat to get to this point. Thanks for everybody at the CDBA also for welcoming me and my family into drag boat racing.

Field service. Cool job today. Was out helping a fellow hot boat owner. Repaired leaks at engine rear main seal and pan gasket. Also fixed leak on the v-drive. This is a really clean fun looking lake hotrod. Will be doing a regear in the v-drive in the off season.

Rebuild on a castle C500 V-drive. Its out of a really clean eliminator day cruiser. Customer found a set of 20% over gears. Should make the boat nicer to drive. Just waiting for gaskets and bearings. Also looking for one shaft. It has some heavy wear against the shoulder.

Building the engine for the Hondo. I have had all parts for a while was just waiting on the heads to come out of machine shop. Got the block painted. Now measuring all the clearances now. Also got parts back from powder coat. The tunnel ram came out good. Hope to be making noise soon.
