When someone puts the wrong gears in the oil pump and engine runs but don't have oil pressure it doesn't last long. Seized up 1 &2 rods on the crank. So you have to do what you have to do to get the pistons off to split the case.

Anybody looking for a engine for a fuel injected car 78 or 79. I am fixing to build this one. It will fit any beetle just doesn't have a spot for an manual fuel pump. You would have to run electric fuel pump let me know. It will have all new, not rebuilt internals.

Update we got the shortblock finished, will turn it into a longblock on tuesday
