Joe rode and raced Indian motorcycles throughout his career. He sold Jawa and BSA in the 50’s & 60’s. In 1963 he started the Yamaha franchise. Joe retired in 1980. Joe was Pioneer Day Marshall in the year 2002. Brown – Paso Robles Graduate. Raced professional from the late 1960’s through the 1970’s. Winner of the Houston Junior National TT in 1972. Also winner of the Ascot Gold Cup and many local dirt track and off road races. He served in the US Army from 1968 – 1969. (known as Joey) has been keeping the family business going since 1980. David Brown – Paso Robles graduate. Youngest son of Joey. David has worked at Brown’s Cycles since he was a young man. He started riding at 4 years old and racing soon after. Making a career out of working on and racing motorcycles David worked his way through the amateur ranks and turned Pro in 2003.
