Essential Job Requirements and Responsibilities Include:
Maintain a high level of integrity
Self-motivated, works well with others (customers, vendors and co-workers), good oral and written communication skills at work with the knowledge to order parts necessary for correct repairs.
Have a valid driver's license (CDL desired but not required)
Accurately document the work performed
Technical experience including a minimum of 3-5 years diesel engine and drive train experience
Experience with Detroit and Cummins preferred
Must have the recommended minimum hand tools for Technician position
Diagnostics, service and repair of early to late model medium and heavy duty diesel trucks
Ability to perform a preventative maintenance service, inspecting and identifying any repairs and deficiencies.
Ability to make timely repairs to drivetrain and suspension components
Ability to diagnose and repair: vehicle electrical systems, starters, alternators, lights, brake system, hydraulic, engine or air.
Ability to efficiently diagnose and repair vehicle engine systems
