Catskill Valley Homes, a busy modular and manufactured home builder in Sullivan County, New York, seeks an organized and detail oriented sales assistant with knowledge of or interest in residential building.
Successful candidates will be energetic, good teammates in a small office environment and comfortable with multi-tasking.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Assistant supports Sales Director and is a trusted connection for our customers as they move through their home building journey
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and address their inquiries and concerns
- Support account management activities, including maintaining client records and updating customer information
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Collaborate with Manufacturer
- Engage with prospective clients and initiate conversations to understand their project goals and share Catskill-Valley Homes values and processes.
- Maintain Model Home “open-house ready” standards
- Answer Phones
- Assist with customer inquiries through online chat, e-mail, telephone and walk-in traffic
Skills:
- Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, as it allows for better communication with a diverse customer base
- Experience in a sales office environment is preferred, but not required
- Ability to organize one’s own activities to work efficiently, effectively, and accurately.
