Brian has worn many hats with New Holland over the years—secret keeper of new technology, educator to farmers all over the country, author of service manuals, and more! Through it all, he’s been blown away by the evolution of each new generation of Twin Rotor® combines.
Here’s what Brian had to say in his story: “I was brand-new with the company at 19 years old. Of many assignments that year, one was to guard a new thing called the TR70 combine in our shop so no one got to see it. It was a secret! ... Little did I know that a year later I would babysit one of the first produced in my North Dakota service territory. ... I think the funny thing about that was me, a 20-year-old kid from New Jersey, having never really seen a combine before, teaching farmers in North Dakota how to run them. Ha!! Then later, for 15 weeks in a row each year after that I would teach schools in Kansas City, write the first service manual on them, and travel the country working on improvements. ... Then p**f, this past summer I got to harvest beans in Illinois with a brand new CNH Rotory. I simply pushed a button to open the grain bin extensions—my how things have changed since 1974! Rock on Twin Rotors!!”
