After relocating, William began doing repair and restoration work and continues to enjoy helping others with their vehicle needs and questions. William Kivit is 26 years old and was born in Chicago, Illinois. Paul of the Cross Catholic grade school in Park Ridge, Illinois. While in grade school, he enjoyed sports and was an avid basketball and football fan. He played on the school basketball and v

olleyball teams and the teams were very competitive and usually ranked highly among the other teams in the conference. William also played on the Rising Stars traveling basketball team in Deerfield, Illinois. In addition he also played on the traveling Park District football team. During his grade school years he was a part of several championship teams. After grade school William attended Maine South High School in Park Ridge, Illinois. At Maine South William was a part of the basketball and football teams. Both school sports teams placed very well within their conference. After graduating from Maine South, William attended Triton College in River Grove, Illinois where he majored in Automotive Technology. During this time William also worked at Niko Automotive Company as an Automotive Technician apprentice. He will often be contacted by various sources to ask his opinion on vehicle reliability and costs. During the past two years William has continued to work as an Automotive Technician at a Chevrolet and Buick dealership in Wisconsin. In addition to sports, William is also very interested in classic and collector automobiles and trucks. He regularly attends meets and shows at venues in the Midwest. William has restored several vehicles, tackling projects that include replacing rusted vehicle floors and body panels. In addition vehicle interiors and engines have also been restored or replaced depending on the project. As a hands on learn by doing person, William has received many compliments on the projects he has completed, most recently a fully restored Chevrolet pick-up truck. In his free time, William enjoys boating, the outdoors, sports, snow mobile riding and collector vehicle auctions.
