Representing the VFW, Auxiliary, and Darwin Webster, Post Manager came to our meeting Sunday and presented an Appropriation Plaque for our involvement with Post happenings. Great folks who we SUPPORT and they SUPPORT our "Works" through the Unforgotten MC Adopt-A-Vet Program.

POW-MIA Recognition Service at American Legion Post 89. This Service is near and dear to the Unforgotten M C . We have participated since the first local gathering hosted by Mike Abbey of Am-Vets Post 45. Patricia Terrazas Abbey , his widow continues to work hard on keeping Mike's vision alive. Since Mike's passing Sarg Mark Grogan has been co-emceeing with Miss Pat. This year Lil' Paul Holcomb, Unforgotten MC member and Commander of American Legion Post 228 assisted in Sarg's absence.
This Great Nation must keep the POW-MIA Service Personnel in mind and continue to push to bring home ALL our Service Personnel. Big THANK YOU to The Parkers Crossroads Veterans Honor Guard for coming once again and performing the Missing Man Table Service. God Bless America and God Bless our Veterans and their Families.

Unforgotten MC will be participating in the POW-MIA SERVICE at American Legion Post 89 on East Antioch Rd in Springville, TN Saturday Sept 19th at 1pm. We invite the public to come join us. "NEVER FORGET" those who Served our Great Nation and haven't made it home...

This Friday, September 18th, 2026, is National POW/MIA Recognition Day. Around the U.S., many observances will have one table set apart from the rest. It’s small, dignified, and set for someone who isn't there.

It's called the Missing Man Table, and every object on it carries deliberate meaning:
The table itself is small, representing the frailty of one prisoner standing alone against his captors. A white tablecloth speaks to the purity of that person's intentions in answering the call to serve. A single red rose, often tied with a yellow or red ribbon, honors the blood that may have been shed — and the families who still bear witness, demanding their return. A slice of lemon and a scattering of salt on the bread plate mark a bitter fate and the tears of those left waiting. The glass sits inverted, since the missing cannot share in a toast. A Bible represents the faith that sustains those still hoping. The black napkin represents the plain truth that what became of them remains unknown. And an empty chair reserved for the missing.

The POW/MIA flag placed at this table exists as a reminder that more than 1,565 Americans remain unaccounted for from the Vietnam War alone and reflects only one conflict, among several, of which families are still waiting for answers.

21 Steps...Give this song a listen. There is reasoning behind the name Unforgotten M C , our Mission, and our goals. Almost 20 years ago this group (for those in the know THE Loyal 12) came together and decided that we wanted to form an MC that was different.
We were the children of Veterans and wanted to do SOMETHING that would HONOR Veterans. Yes, we dressed in leather, (for warmth and protection while riding those damn loud Harley Davidsons) we were a bit unkempt, (your hair and beard might get a bit long because who has time for a trim when you're having this much fun riding those damn loud Harleys) and to show where our HEART was when it came to this Great Nations Heroes.
21 Steps...The letter "U" is the 21st letter of the alphabet, Unforgotten MC West Tenn, the lettering on the back of our Club Cuts (vest), is 21 letters, and there are 21 counties in West Tenn.
Nice, but the real reason of WHY 21 was to HONOR the 21 Steps Taken at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the 21 second pause, and the 21 Gun Salute given to Fallen Soldier Heroes, and TAPS when played correctly last 21 seconds.
No, we DO NOT fit the "normal". It's not for us. It takes all types to make up a society but if you look at our ❤️ and pay a little bit of attention to our actions ("works" as we call them) you just might get an idea that while we look and act a little different, them DAMN loud Harley Davidson riders are doing some pretty neat stuff for Veterans and Veteran Families in need.
So, we continue on down this winding road with our Unforgotten MC Adopt-A-Vet Program. If you would like to assist us in helping our LOCAL AREA VETERANS IN NEED and their Families you may do so by mailing donations to: Unforgotten MC Adopt-A-Vet Program c/o APEX Bank PO Box 99 Big Sandy, TN 38212
Big THANK YOU to everyone who shows SUPPORT for our Program and an even BIGGER THANK YOU to those who Served this Great Nation so we might have the Freedom to do many things (including riding those damn loud Harleys) Show us where your ❤️ is...God Bless our Veterans and God Bless our Great Nation.

Unforgotten M C Adopt-A-Vet Program with a donation at A Soldiers Heart Bluegrass and Muddy Waters Music Festival at KenLake Park benefitting our local Veterans. They do GREAT things in our area with Veterans in need. Unforgotten MC Family has supported Brother Wildcat Jeremy Wallace and his crew (and Wildcats beautiful bride Kendra who works along with Wildcat) for many years. 21 MC Adopt-A-Vet Program bought a canoe for their Paddling and Camping excursions on KY Lake for their Group of Veterans who need to get together and talk, listen, spend time with Veterans who have some idea of what these brave Soldiers have experienced in defending this Great Nation and others all around the world.
Look up A Soldiers Heart Bluegrass and Muddy Waters website and read a little about what they do for Veterans in Need. Send them a donation if you can. It's a GREAT CAUSE and things they do. Also, met with American Legion Post 236 Honor Guard out of Calvert City. We support the Parkers Crossroads Veterans Honor Guard and was honored to speak with them about their Program.
