This is Kelli McDonald for Paris Chevrolet and the Texoma Chevy Dealers. We are proud to present Carter Joe Whitten with a $1,000.00 scholarship for being one of our A+ Athletes of the Week.

Carter Joe is an outstanding student at North Lamar High School, where he is a member of the National Honor Society, FCA, and the Beta Club. He is also heavily involved in the agriculture program, a passion he plans to continue at Tarleton State University, where he will pursue a double major in Agriculture Business and Business. In addition to his academic and extracurricular commitments, Carter Joe is active in his church and volunteers in his community, including time spent helping at the civic center. His ability to balance school, activities, and service reflects his strong character and dedication.

In athletics, Carter Joe is a key contributor to the North Lamar Panthers baseball team, where he has been a four-year player and has made a lasting impact on the program. He also competes in rifle competitions, demonstrating his focus and discipline across multiple areas. Coaches describe him as a dependable leader who does things the right way, both on and off the field, and someone who truly cares about his teammates and his team’s success.

Carter Joe approaches everything he does with a steady mindset, strong values, and a commitment to excellence. Whether in the classroom, in competition, or in his community, he leads by example and consistently gives his best effort.
