Just finished up Jeff 's Leach Roofing 604 BBC Small Tire Blower Motor.

We broke the dyno torque and hp records with less than 10 psi boost.

Finished up testing on this 443 cid SB2.2 Dirt Drag Engine with the customer's headers that we modified to the following specs along with X16 fuel.

2" to 2 1/8" at 28 inch Primary Length
Merge collector with 3 1/2 outlet with 2.75 choke with overall 13" length.

1017 hp at 8500
683 tq at 6800

With my dyno headers and Q16 it made 1042 hp.

So, we now have two different fuel tune ups in the same carb and the vehicle headers working good for this combination.

Looking forward to seeing the on track results.

Finished up this 438 cid SBC 23 Deg 3.0V Profiler headed Dirt Drag Engine today with some updates from the original build back in 2017.

884 hp at 8100 (2.02 hp / cid)
655 tq at 6200 (1.495 tq / cid)

841 avg hp from 6200 to 8400

We made a bore size change from 4.170 to 4.177 with new custom Ross Pistons along with a manifold change from Edelbrock 2970/71 to the IronHide 2205-3 with Vector Performance Ron Jr Warrick doing the port work along with fresh valve job by Brett Miller. Also, had Wes Collins build some custom headers for the truck along with my new custom BLP CARB.

These changes netted us an increase of 41 avg hp from 6200-8400. It made 855 hp / 625 tq on the original build back in 2017.

Got to make some updates on the 425 cid SB2.2 that we did last fall for my good friend and customer Robert Eubanks.

We netted some nice gains to increase the power to 1013 hp from 996 hp. The torque increased as well from 699 to 703 at peak tq rpm. (Comparison between both is shown in pictures 📸 below). We utilized the Holley TerminatorX4500 system as it was run last year.

Changes that were made was a slight increase in compression to a tick over 16.0 to 1 versus 15.9 last year. We also moved the cam timing events a little.

Avg power increased to 960 from 949 across the test range of 6500 to 8400 along with avg torque increase to 678 from 671.

We also tested some different oil and headers which did not net us any gains.

The comparison data was with same headers and EFI system that was used last year.

It is heading to the racetrack today.
