Vehicle Maintenance in relation to turbo longevity, this is something we don’t harp on enough with customers.

Every unit that leaves our facility has Amsoil in it, ready for its first start in your truck. After that, we hope the customer is utilizing a quality oil that will keep the turbo lubricated for many years to come. This part is out of our hands and we do see the effects of lower quality oil being used when a unit comes in for repair or a core return. Conventional oils have their place, just not in light duty diesel trucks.
