Austrian diagnostics firm AVILOO ran more than 500,000 battery tests across 20 EV models, the largest independent study of real-world degradation yet, measuring state of health out to 93,000 miles.

The Mercedes EQA led at a median 94%, with the IONIQ 5 and BMW i4 just behind, while Tesla landed mid-pack at 90.3% for the Model Y and 88.9% for the Model 3, and the Nissan Leaf ZE1 finished last at 86.7%.
