This allows for greater accuracy and speed for all major collision repairs. Downdraft baking spray booth – This is the most popular airflow design when “High Quality” is the desired end result. Down draft is where air coming in thru the ceiling and exiting thru the floor reduces over-spray along with built-in heating elements to properly cure the paint. J.R. (“Burkholder’s”), was established in 1967 by Jay Ronald Burkholder as sole proprietor. Business flourished for him while specializing in repairing foreign uni-body cars such as Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, BMW, etc. that other collision shops had difficulty repairing. By the mid-70’s, business grew enough to require a couple employees and an additional building was necessary by 1985. Over the years, J.R. has earned admiration and loyal customers from its work quality and speed. Long-time employee, Steve Hostetter, took over the business in early 2013. He has been the manager for 10 years prior and became the face of the shop. Steve’s customer dedication, continuous effort and experience ensure a service that will not disappoint. Do not leave the scene of the accident! Determine if there are any injuries and call 911 if needed. Call your insurance company. Request a Tow if needed, YOU CAN CHOOSE WHAT Body Shop to take your vehicle to. At The Scene:
Be courteous & polite, but do not admit fault. Get the names & car insurance info of any drivers involved. Ask for contact info if the other drivers do not provide insurance info. Get names & contact info for any Witnesses to the accident. Give your name & insurance info to the police & other driver's. GIVE OUT ONLY the following info:
Your name, your vehicle's make, model, year, color & VIN
The name of your insurance Co., Agent's name & phone & policy #
DO NOT ALLOW your license or registration to be photographed. DO NOT PROVIDE your address or other contact info to other drivers. AT THE SCENE:
Take Photos of License Plates, Damage to your vehicle & others. Damage to property, Objects at the scene like debris, skid marks, fallen branches, etc. Street signs or other landmarks, obstructed traffic signs. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING:
Write down names of investigators, police officers or insurance claims adjusters. Note date & time, the name of the person and a description of the conversation when speaking to an insurance agent. Keep receipts of all expenditures, parking costs & repair costs.
