🚨 NEWS UPDATE | June 27, 2026 Wildfire activity continues across Lincoln County, with four active fires burning and several recreation areas now affected.

Current Fire Status
🔥 Dry Canyon Fire: 1,651 acres • 10% contained
🔥 Parsnip Peak Fire: 1,500 acres • 0% contained
🔥 Grapevine Fire: 26,203 acres • 0% contained
🔥 Kane Springs Fire: 17,042 acres • 50% contained

Recreation Area Impacts

🚤 Spring Valley State Park
The Eagle Valley Reservoir boat ramps remain closed while helicopters continue water bucket operations.

🏞️ Echo Canyon Area
Officials are asking the public to avoid the Echo Canyon area while firefighting operations remain underway.

🌲 Beaver Dam State Park
The park remains closed due to the nearby Grapevine Fire.

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect, and fire officials are asking residents and visitors to:
• Avoid active fire areas.
• Use caution around firefighting equipment operating on county roads.
• Report any new smoke columns immediately.
