Recently a customer brought us a Sterling quad with CAT C13 experiencing low oil pressure, after installimg mechanical guages we were able to determine the oil pressure sender was failing and replaced it right away. Another one back to work!

Some of our customers work LONG days and some work 6 and 7 days a week. Although we try to spend our weekends together as a family, we understand some guys need their equipment ready for monday morning. Thats why sometimes you can find us working in the off hours, keeping this equipment up and running so that many familys like ours can continue to grow. its always a pleasure doing business with our local timber companies!

Last month we were hired to install this Mercedes OM460LA and Eaton Fuller 10spd in a Sterling QuintAxle truck. The hardest part? EVERYTHING HAD BEEN REMOVED AND NOT LABELED! We quickly made an inventory of parts and hardware and went to work on site at the customers home shop. We assembled the engine accessories, completed both wiring harness and fuel sytems. reengineered the exhaust and exhaust brake systems, installed clutch, transmission, air tanks. routed over 50 air hoses with no identifying markings. Tomorrow we will reinstall the driveline and drive it under its own power! Im hopeful I can get her back to work in the coming week. thankful for my helper Cierra Chisholm and our customer for remaining so postive during these past 2 weeks.

Recently we responded to a machine in Havelock Nc for random shutdowns and failure to accelerate. after quickly diagnosing, we were asked to repair broken bolts and stripped threads in the bucket collar. we removed the bucket and brought it in for repairs. next week we will have it reinstalled and shimmed up tight so that it can keep diggin!

Today, while responding to an unrelated service call. We couldn't help but stop and offer this man a hand, his spare tire tools were not in his truck but we had him covered! In less than 5 minutes he went from calling wreckers to continuing on about his day. He insisted he fill our fuel tank so we kindly accepted it!

This afternoon, we received a call from the YMCA Camps of America, Raleigh NC division in regards to an inoperable school bus at one of their vocational camps. After a quick inspection and one trip to the parts house, we were able to get this school bus back up and operating so that it could make its annual inspection and proceed with another year of field trips! Thank you YMCA for trusting us with your repairs and thank you to Hunnings Inc for having our parts in stock and ready as always!

We picked up a neat little tractor tonight. "Peanut" is our new project. A 1974 Allis Chalmers 6040 diesel with wet line! We cannot wait to get her up and going in the coming days to help serve us at the shop!
