Help save one of the best kart tracks in the NE. You do not have to attend the meeting to be heard. A simple note to the chairman is adequate.

A wise man once said, "adjust your driving before you go adjusting the kart".

Coaching is a key component to on track success. Tenths can be lost in one corner. Compound that with other issues and you're a half second off.

Tent space and Arrive & Drive packages are rapidly filling up for the 2026 CKNA Grand Nationals located at New Castle Motorsports Park October 8 - 11. As a reminder, arrive and drive commitments are due September 1st (a little over a week away). The deadline for tent reservations has been adjusted to September 21st. We are expecting a full house and want to be certain we have enough time to secure additional personnel for the weekend.

Understandably, we have had some questions regarding yesterday’s announcement. I’ll answer the most common ones here and provide a look into the future for PPK.

Q: Has ownership changed?
A: No! However, when that day comes, I want there to be a seamless transition for our partners and clients. Putting the right people in the right place will ensure that happens.

Q: Will you (John) still attend races?
A: Yes! While I may not be at set up day, I will still attend as many races as possible.

Q: Are you cutting back on the number of events the team will be attending?
A: No! As a matter of fact, we will be expanding the schedule for 2027

Q: Will Christopher still race?
A: Yes! Christopher will race a limited 206 schedule and an expanded KA schedule in 2027.

Whether it is known or not Precision Performance Karting is not the only business I own. In 2022 I purchased a swimming pool construction company, and it has been a successful venture. I am proud to say both PPK and the construction company are highly regarded and viewed as leaders in their respected fields. Both businesses are similar in that customer service and results, whether on track or in the backyard, determine your success. Ultimately, long term success and sustained growth is the key to making a business prosper versus just survive.
With Christopher’s relocation to Florida several new opportunities will present themselves. Some of our goals for 2027 include…
1) Creation of a comprehensive driver development program
2) Participation in a local “club” program. Location TBD.
3) Expansion of our cadet and junior programs
4) Expansion of the Coyote Motorsports brand into S Florida on the local level

These are exciting changes and I know Christopher is up for the challenge.

Cup Karts North America Grands #10 (October 8 -11) New Castle, In
- September 1: Arrive and Drive Reservation Deadline
- September 28: Tent Reservation Deadline
** There will be a hard cap for this event. Reservations are now open so reserve your spot ASAP.

International Kart Federation Grands (October 16 - 18) Spring Mountain, Nv
- we are opening an interest list for this event. Come race for the most iconic trophy in karting, the "Duffy".
- tent space will be available for all 2 cycle and 4 cycle classes

Apex Karting Championships Finals (October 23 - 25) Mooresville, NC
- PPK in conjunction with Brandon Jarsocrak Racing will offer tent space for the inaugural Apex Finals.

For the 3rd year in a row Christopher McKeithan Racing and myself will be making the trip to Canada for the Canadian National Karting Championships. We will be at the Coyote Motorsports facility Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning before we head across the border. Feel free to stop in and say hello. We're happy to share all of our kart set up "secrets" from Summer Nationals.
