The second stop on the 2026 Cup Karts North America East Division took the program to the LaFayette Motorsports Park on July 3-5. The Lafayette, New York facility welcomed the third and fourth rounds of the championship program in a late move of location after issues forced the event to be relocated...

PPK racers brought the heat to rounds 3 and 4 of the Cup Karts East divisional program. Our hats off to the the CK staff for the last minute venue change. The race, originally scheduled for Kelly's Motorsports Park in Batavia, NY, was relocated to the beautiful the LaFayette Motorsports Park in Lafayette, NY. Nestled just south of Syracuse, NY LaFayette Motorsports Park proved to be a challenge with quick changing weather and track conditions. We're happy to congratulate all of our racers on a fun weekend. Everyone made personal gains !

The next Cup Karts North America national event is right around the corner. The 2026 edition of Summer Nationals brings us back to the beautiful Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati in Batavia, Oh. from July 31 - August 2.

Quick story time...
Last Tuesday Christopher McKeithan Racing departed Florida for the CKNA race in New York. This is the first solo trip Christopher has driven and it was to be a relatively easy one. Unfortunately, around 5p Christopher had a break down on I-26 between I-95 and Columbia. I was able to get in touch with a diesel mechanic that was going to be onsite in 30 minutes 5 different times. Mechanic finally shows up at 10 pm and is probably about as knowledgeable as a spare tire. The mechanic tells me the computer is shot, engine is shot... full blown doom & gloom. He told me the error codes and I started searching. I jump in the truck and head north. I arrive at 8 am and get Christopher from a hotel. We assess the issue and based on the codes we're looking at a failed Fuel Pump Control Module. 20 min from where the truck breaks down is a Chevy dealer. They have the part in stock! I go in to pick it up and he says "we sell a lot of these". Replace the module and the batteries in the truck (they died) and it fires right up. Off goes Christopher like he never missed a step. Gets into Syracuse Thursday at 1am and gets set up later in the day. He and Pauly Massimino proceed to manage the team to 5 out of 6 Lite, Medium, and Heavy wins. Win #6 (Sr Heavy on Sat) was a lap and a half away until that gear system imploded. Needless to say the opportunity for that to happen again will not be an option.

Chevy HD truck owners...
- take care of your transmission. Twin Transmission (Paul Massimino) is the best !
- relocate your MAP & MAF sensors. They will carbon up
- carry a spare FPCM. It's a $45 part that can be replaced in @ an hour and it'll save ya $1200
