ITS GOING TO BE A PARTY!!!! Juneteen, June 19th, The Childs Family invites all friends, family and especially racers to come celebrate the life and Legacy of John L. Childs, the O.G. dragracer of Alaska. The party starts at 2pm and goes till you drop! We are doing a potluck and BYOB...... It will be at Jay Childs Racecars shop, 1415 N Local 302 Rd. Back gate will be open for parking in the back.

Jay Childs The Childs family has lost their patriarch, their husband and dad on February 6th at 10pm. As most of you know, John was battling Dementia, which is a very cruel disease. As per John's wishes, we will be throwing a BIG, BIG party in his honor this summer, that is what HE WANTED! My dad doesn't want any sadness when you think of him, only happy and good stuff. He lived his life with happy and a Go Get em attitude! Thank you to all!

What a great opportunity we had.... Jay and the crew went to Halibut Cove to rebuild a Detroit Diesel for Point Lodge newest addition to their adventures they offer. What a beautiful lodge and a great group of people.....
P.S. we will reopen shop tomorrow, Tuesday.
