Demore's Automotive

05/27/2026

To our customers, friends, and community,

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share Demore’s Automotive will be closing at our current location.

Recently, we went through a very difficult situation that temporarily interrupted our ability to operate. That matter was addressed quickly, but unfortunately we are no longer able to continue operating from this location.

This business has meant everything to our family. For many years, we have done our best to serve this community, support local families, sponsor local teams and events, help where we could, and take care of the people who trusted us with their vehicles and their safety.

We know this news will bring questions, and when the time is right we will share more. For now, our focus is on handling this transition as responsibly as possible and taking care of our customers the best we can.

To everyone who has supported us, trusted us, encouraged us, and stood by us through the years, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Demore’s Automotive has never just been a repair shop to us. It has been our life, our family, and our community.

We are heartbroken, but deeply grateful.

Thank you for your support

From Michelle and Jay

"I have been bringing my vehicles here for oil changes for a while now. My parents have always recommended them. We have never had a problem. I am now having some work done on my vehicle. Yesterday I was able to drop my vehicle off, use their loaner vehicle in the meantime and had my car back a few hours later. The work that was done was explained to me afterwards and everyone was very friendly. I will be returning for tires soon. Great place!"

“Demore’s is a great place. We moved to Wilbraham from the Boston area and randomly chose Demore’s, and we are more than happy with them. They are honest with their pricing and work, which is hard to find these days. Demore’s is as good as it gets. They have helped us multiple times, including fixing my Subaru with over 200k miles and ensuring we didn’t get ripped off by shady car dealers.” -Peter C.

Cold Weather Vehicle Maintenance Tips from Demore’s Automotive
As winter settles in, it’s essential to make sure your vehicle is ready for the colder months. At Demore’s Automotive, we want to help you keep your car in top shape during the chilly season.

Here are a few cold weather maintenance tips to keep you safe and your vehicle running smoothly:
1. Check Your Battery: Cold temperatures can weaken your car’s battery. Make sure it’s fully charged and replace it if it’s showing signs of wear.
2. Inspect the Tires: Cold weather can reduce tire pressure, leading to less traction. Check your tire pressure regularly and ensure the tread is in good condition for icy roads.
3. Replace Wiper Blades: Winter weather can be tough on wiper blades. Make sure yours are functioning well and replace them if needed to keep your windshield clear in snow or rain.
4. Ensure Proper Fluid Levels: Make sure your coolant, oil, and windshield washer fluids are topped off. Cold temperatures can affect fluid levels, and having the right amount of fluid is crucial to prevent freezing or overheating.
5. Check the Heater and Defroster: Ensure your vehicle’s heater and defroster are working properly. Cold weather means you’ll need both for comfort and safety during your drive.

Stay safe and keep your car in excellent condition this winter! If you need assistance, Demore’s Automotive is here to help with any cold-weather maintenance. Reach out today!
