It's been quite some time since creating this page. Life has had me very busy. Time had brought me to our good friend Pete DaMilta's aid within his company about 8 years ago. Pete had purchased a body shop to add to his existing towing company. I have been doing body and paint work since high school, and originally began helping him in any of my spare time outside of my job at a major dealership. As things worked out Pete had asked me to stay forever lol for life rather and offered me a piece of the company. So any and all of my loyal customers/friends know that they can reach me for paint and body work@ Petes Collision Center 1910 Calumet Street in Clearwater. We offer full collision services, paint refinishing, restorations, mechanical, and 24 hrs. This was all I had the chance to get pictures of 65 Mustang all painted. My guys reassembled the body and it was loaded onto a roll around dolly so that it could be loaded into a flat bed. The darn thing was picked up before I got in the next morning. So will have to run up to the other shop to photograph it all together. I hope you enjoy. I was glad to see it go as I've have a Pro Street Mustang to do, ROAD RUNNER & 65 Chevy Step Side P/U here looking at me. Next I'M going to Squeeze in my Ram for its paint job. That's right mine is next!!

1965 Ford Mustang 2+2
Rotisserie restoration, all metal fabrication, blue printing of the body, smoothing, molding and paint refinishing done here at Pete's Collison Center. We then shipped it up to Billy and his guys@ Palm Harbor Automotive for the driveline to be installed. This is by no means a concours resto, the owner was real animate about wanting to be driving the car, taking it to car shows within a years time. That was just a little unreasonable considering the work that needed to be carried out. With the all the rust we had to cut out & replace with hand formed steel. After all the body work was finished it got primed and blocked twice for a nice smooth ripple free surface. It was shot in an Aqua Metallic base coat followed up by three coats of High Solids Euro Clear and finally a minor nibbing of any little imperfections with p1200, p1500, p2000, p3000 trizac pad wet & polished out to a super high luster using only Orbital Polisher and Farecla G360 Super Fast Compound applied with a foam cutting pad and then once more work 3M Perfect-It Machine Polish. The owners were very pleased with the final product and we kept it under $20,000.00.

We now have a brand new frame machine to handle any heavy collision work. I use PPG and House of Color paints exclusively.. So any job large or small can be accomodated. From scratch and dents to train wrecks !
