I am Rodger Bennett and Pirate Custom Carz is a family-owned and operated business. I have had a lifelong passion for cars and always enjoy working on them. I have been trained in automotive repair and have been employed by an auto body shop, as well as several car dealers. At this point in my life, I am ready to make car restoration my livelihood. It is our mission at PCC to preserve American automobile history by restoring the glamor to vintage cars of all makes and models from the 1930s through the 1970s when America was a premier automotive manufacturer.

Pirate Custom Carz will sell restored vehicles through online and live automobile auctions. Every effort will be made to restore the vehicles to original manufacturing specifications. The shop will initially employ three technicians to complete the restoration projects. PCC's primary goal is to build a reputation for providing quality restoration work on classic cars. We will achieve this goal by hiring excellent technicians and providing continuous training. It is our objective to employ our country’s military veterans and students who have been trained at select automotive/technical schools.

I have talked to several people in the local car clubs and at some local car shows and they have gained intrest in my Company.

PCC's primary goal is to build a reputation for providing quality restoration work on classic cars. We will achieve this goal by hiring excellent technicians and providing continuous training. We will purchase new equipment to establish our shop and will utilize environmentally-friendly products such as water-borne paint. We will launch marketing efforts to build clientele and reach a large market of prospective clients. We have developed plans for business startup and growth, sales, and marketing to help guide the business as we establish our shop as a top provider of automotive restoration services.
PCC anticipates each vehicle may take up to one month to restore and sell. Initially, we will work on one car at a time. Eventually we will have the resources to improve efficiency and will work in an assembly-line fashion so we can work on up to three cars at a time. In this situation one car would be taken apart and restored, one would be painted, and one would be reassembled.

PCC will gain a competitive edge in the growing automotive restoration industry due to our commitment to quality restoration work and competitive prices. PCC will be restoring classic cars originally manufactured from the 1920s to the 1970s. Our niche market and motivated clientele will allow us to command prices that are higher than traditional body work jobs, but still competitive in the industry. We will hire recent automotive graduates as well as veterans and disabled individuals and will provide continuous training to ensure quality work.
PCC has no direct competitors in our local area. We have identified three local shops for reference: Auto Craft, Celoco Auto Body, and J&J Auto Body. These three companies generate the majority of their business through insurance companies referring repair and body work. None of these companies perform restorations on classic automobiles.

At this time I am the only one in the company but I will be hiring four more technicians for the shop who will be retired veterans who have experience in the industry.

I am having the most trouble raising the money right now other then that I don't see any trouble down the line.

My shop will be Located in Palm Coast Florida due to this is where we Live and have access to local ports for shipping over seas to customers and transporting the cars to auctions.
