Congratulations to Matt Jewell and the entire crew at Rod and Custom on winning the 2026 Rod & Custom Association Street Machine of the Year, presented by Motorsports.
Getting to build the interior for this Chevelle alongside Eddie and his team was a privilege — that group operates at a level very few shops ever reach. Hats off to Roadster Shop on the chassis and Auto Company on the one-off wheels. Top to bottom, this car earned it.
And Matt — thank you for trusting us with it. One of the most down-to-earth, humble guys you’ll ever meet, and easily one of the best owners we’ve had the pleasure of working for.
That’s the real reward in this industry. The trophies are great, but the people you meet along the way end up being family.
Congrats again, gentlemen. Hell of a build. 👏

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of a truly talented and remarkable individual. The automotive aftermarket world has lost a great man whose vision and creativity set him apart from most. We at Avant-Garde Design were blessed to have Anthony (Tony) work with us on two occasions over the last 11 years, and his impact on our team and the industry will not be forgotten.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. His legacy will live on in the incredible work he did and the countless lives he touched.
