We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out with prayers, kind words, condolences, flowers, and support following the unexpected passing of our longtime manager, Mary Morales. 🕊️

Mary cared deeply for Bayfront RV Park and the people she met throughout her many years managing it. We know many of you came to know and love her, and our family is incredibly grateful for the kindness you have shown us during this difficult time.

For those who may not know me, I am Ashley Sanchez, Mary’s daughter and owner and operator of Bayfront RV Park & Storage alongside my husband, Lorenzo. Moving forward, I will also be taking over the day-to-day management of the park, a role my mom faithfully handled for us for many years.

I know I have some very big shoes to fill, so I ask for a little patience and grace as I navigate this new journey and become accustomed to everything she handled behind the scenes. My goal is to continue caring for our park and our customers with the same dedication she showed throughout the years.

From our family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued prayers, support, and for remembering Mary so fondly. Your kindness during this time has meant more to us than we can express. ❤️

It is with a heavy heart that I share that our beloved park manager, Ms. Mary, has passed away. 🕊️

Ms. Mary was not only our manager, but my mom, my backbone, and someone who cared deeply for our residents and this little community.

Our family is grieving an incredible loss, and we ask that you please keep us in your prayers during this difficult time. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we take some time to grieve.

Thank you to everyone who has loved and supported my mom. She will be deeply missed.

A weakening Tropical Storm Bertha will be approaching the Upper Texas Coast late Thursday morning/early afternoon before becoming a Tropical Depression once it makes landfall. A Tropical Storm Watch has been issued for Chambers County and the coastal portions of Galveston and Brazoria counties, including Galveston Bay and northern waters, through 6 AM on Friday. Efforts should be underway to protect life and property in the vulnerable areas.

Tropical Storm Bertha contains maximum sustained winds of 40 mph. Bertha is expected to begin moving westward by Wednesday, possibly bringing impacts to SE Texas. Active monitoring of Bertha should continue despite the unfavorable environment ahead of it.
